at the age of 14, Ava August performed before an SOLD OUT audience of thirty thousand fans at Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles before a Los Angeles Kings professional hockey game. Ava August's performances with the Los Angeles Dodgers (professional baseball team) as well as the L.A. Galaxy (professional soccer team) were canceled due to COVID-19. Ava August, at the age of 15, became one of the youngest contestants and judges of American Idol Season 19. Ava August won the GOLDEN TICKER in the Audition Round. After that, she was able to advance to the Genre, Duet, Showstopper, Celebrity/ Solo, The Top 15 and Top 20 rounds. Ava got voted in the TOP 10 by the American people. Ava August sang two originals on American Idol - Neighbor Boy and Ghost of You. Ava August was also a part of a stunning duet in the company of internationally recognized celebrity Josh Groban. Ava was the first to release her critically acclaimed track Daybreak when she was fifteen. The song was released with her debut animated music video. Daybreak as well as tropical Surf Hour was broadcasted on KX93.5 FM in the morning on the morning of 11/01/20.
